Discover the beauty of the Somme, the small French département on the west coast around the bay of the River Somme. Camping Le Ridin is close to Le Crotoy, in beautiful lowlands full of fens, small lakes and fields that are so familiar in this part of the coastline. It is an attractive family camp site just 1 km from the beach.

The camp site has its own heated swimming pool, a children's club which is active every afternoon in high season and plenty of activities for teenagers and adults: dances, shows, karaoke, sports tournaments and much more.
There is also a fitness room and a friendly pub for a drink after all that effort. Le Ridin is also the place for nature lovers and those seeking relaxation. The grounds are about 4.5 hectares and are situated in pleasant natural countryside.

Local Area

The Somme is something very different: chalk cliffs and dunes by the sea, lovely beaches, low lying embankments with valleys inland, the plateau of the old capital Amiens and an area with fens further inland. A lovely holiday destination for those who like walking or cycling in unspoilt countryside. There's a good chance you will meet a shepherd and his flock or a large group of migrating birds.

Static caravans are fully fitted and offer the most comfortable and luxurious way to camp. Everything is provided!
The interior is typically as follows: Living room with entrance and a dining/sitting area (which can usually be adapted into an additional double bed), Bedroom 1 with double bed. Bedroom 2 with two single beds.
Bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet (sometimes a separate toilet). Fitted kitchen with a 2 to 4 ring gas hob and fridge. Plenty of storage space for personal possessions. Terrace and/or private garden with garden furniture.
