Some campers have all the luck. On holiday in the French Jura, on a camp site right by a river with excellent canoeing (rent them there) and swimming. Local Area

The lake at Chalain is 6 km away and an original way to see Lake Vouglans is a trip on an old-fashioned paddle steamer, ‘Le Louisiane’. But don't forget your fishing rod for catching trout! Further eastwards towards Switzerland, the Jura becomes more mountainous with breathtaking countryside. The huge reservoir Barrière de Vouglans is to the south.

Static caravans are fully fitted and offer the most comfortable and luxurious way to camp. Everything is provided!
The interior is typically as follows: Living room with entrance and a dining/sitting area (which can usually be adapted into an additional double bed), Bedroom 1 with double bed. Bedroom 2 with two single beds.
Bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet (sometimes a separate toilet). Fitted kitchen with a 2 to 4 ring gas hob and fridge. Plenty of storage space for personal possessions. Terrace and/or private garden with garden furniture.
