Local Area

Camping Loisirs Ariane is located just 25 minutes from Caen and 30 minutes from the Planches de Deauville. These are the beaches where the Allied troops landed during the Second World War. You will also come across plenty of memorials and cemeteries close to the camp site.

The chalets available have more space and comfort than 'classic' static caravans and there is usually more storage space.
The interior is typically as follows: Living room with entrance and a dining/sitting area (which can usually be adapted into an additional double bed), Bedroom 1 with double bed. Bedroom 2 with two single beds or bunk beds.
Bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet (sometimes a separate toilet). Fitted kitchen with a 2 to 4 ring gas hob and fridge. Plenty of storage space for personal possessions. In most cases your chalet will have a covered wooden terrace with garden furniture for relaxing outdoors.
Some camp sites offer bungalows. These differ very little from chalets regarding the interior. It is possible that one or more of the bedrooms will be upstairs, and you should also be aware that not all bungalows are detached.
